Gov.-elect Arnold Schwarzenegger may be planning to clean house in Sacramento, but it's not clear how much he'll be keeping house here. Several times during the recall campaign, he said he would commute, by private plane, between the Capitol and his estate in Brentwood.

We've offered our suggestions for ways Gov.-elect Arnold Schwarzenegger can make himself at home in Sacramento.

There, his wife, Maria Shriver, 47, a Kennedy clan member and TV journalist with NBC News (currently on leave), presumably would keep the home fires burning and the homework  checked. And there's a lot of it, as the couple has four children: Katherine, 13; Christina, 12; Patrick, 10; and Christopher, 6.  Even so, there would be plenty of ways the governor-elect, who is 56, and his family could feel right at home here. The heat is dry, the rivers are wet and the people are friendly. Here's a short guide to a few other local pluses.

Wheels: The Hummer is a signature vehicle for the governor-elect, who was reportedly the first private citizen in the United States to own a military Humvee.

Lakeshore Pacific limousine service has a chariot ready to go: an H2 Hummer stretch limo that seats 16 passengers and runs $135 to $175 an hour. When they see it, some people seem to think the governor-elect is already inside.

"I have people coming up to me saying, 'Is Arnold in there?' " says James Mickelson, manager of the limo service based in Orangevale.
